MEET MADELYNN

Hi! I am Madelynn, the photographer behind the lens of By Madelynn Riley. I am based out of Central California and grew up here so I am biased towards the rolling hills and beach photos but I am always happy to have a change of scenery, too. While I officially started this journey in 2023, photography has always been a passion of mine.

My style of photography has developed over the years, landing on a look that is warm, romantic, and softly editorial. I use natural light, movement, and authentic emotion to create images that feel effortless and timeless. I love images that feel lived-in and real, with a touch of elegance and intention. The kind of photos that make you pause and bring you back to that moment.

To me, photography is about more than just beautiful images. It’s about preserving the laughter you didn’t even realize was happening, the in-between moments, and the connection that can’t be posed. My goal is always to create images that feel authentic, timeless, and personal to you.

I specialize in lifestyle photography, capturing everything from couples and engagements to maternity, families, and meaningful milestones. I’m drawn to love stories, slow moments, quiet beauty, and meaningful connection. Whether it’s a golden hour session in an open field, a cozy in-home shoot, or a milestone moment you never want to forget, I approach every session with care, creativity, and heart. When you step in front of my camera, I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself. I have found that the best moments happen when you forget the camera is even there.
